In the Book of Isaiah (5:26-30, Van Dyck Version), the Lord says after His words rebuking the Children of Israel:
“25 - He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation, And will whistle(1) for it from the ends of the earth; And behold, it will come with speed swiftly. “27 - No one in it is weary or stumbles, None slumbers or sleeps; Nor is the belt at its waist undone, Nor its sandal strap broken. “28 - Its arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent; The hoofs of its horses seem like flint and its chariot wheels like a whirlwind. “29 - Its roaring is like a lioness, and it roars like young lions; It growls as it seizes the prey And carries it off with no one to deliver it. (1) To hiss (yuṣaffir) means to produce a sound from the mouth by blowing, and the sound is a whistle. “30 - And it will growl over it in that day like the roaring of the sea. If one looks to the land, behold, there is darkness and distress; Even the light is darkened by its clouds.”

This text includes a description of invasion coming from a distant land against the Children of Israel, following words of rebuke against them, and an indication of the transfer of prophethood from them to another nation.
Therefore, the text clarifies that the Children of Israel will face an invincible army, attacking swiftly, with none stumbling or being slow among them. Their weapons of war are strong – arrows and spears – and their horses are strong and trained. This army is terrifying, having a sound like lions in the forest, so if they overcome their enemy, they will dispose of them quickly. This verse is considered among the glad tidings and prophecies affirming the truth of the prophethood of Muḥammad, the clarity of his message, and the ability of Islam to spread and triumph throughout the earth. This is exactly what happened: the Muslims defeated the Children of Israel in the Levant, Egypt, and Asia Minor (Turkey). Then its people entered the religion of Islam in crowds, due to the beauty of Islamic laws and the good treatment of Muslims towards them. Praise be to Allāh.
It is appropriate to quote the words of the Lord in His description of the Children of Israel, which He said before this prophecy. For He said (as in verse 24):
24 Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble and dry grass collapses into the flame, so their root will become like rot and their blossom blow away as dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord of armies and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 5:24) 25 On this account the anger of the Lord has burned against His people, And He has reached out with His hand against them and struck them. And the mountains quaked, and their corpses were like refuse in the middle of the streets. For all this, His anger is not spent, but His hand is still reaching out. (Isaiah 5:25) After this, the Lord spoke His words, which came in the prophecy above: He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation... etc. Therefore, in the beginning, the Lord rebuked the Children of Israel, and afterwards He decreed the transfer of prophethood to the descendants of Ishmael, and gave glad tiding of the Prophet Muḥammad.
