From the author's introduction
This is a compilation of glad tidings and prophecies contained in the Old Testament that foretold the appearance of Muḥammad, son of ‘Abdullāh (Abdullah), from the descendants of Ismā‘īl (Ishmael), as a messenger and prophet to all mankind. Allāh, Exalted be He, speaks the truth in His book, the Qur’ān, when he says to the People of the Book (Jews and Christians): “Say, [O Muḥammad], ‘So Bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful.’” [Āl ‘Imrān (Family of Imran), 3:93] And He said about the truthful scholars of the People of the Book in their knowledge and deeds: “Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were 5 upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him, and followed the light which was sent down with him — it is those who will be the successful.” [Al-A ‘rāf (The Heights), 7:157].
Forty-one passages. Nine prophets of the Old Testament and a closing section from the Gospels and Acts. This site keeps every quotation exactly as the book records it, and adds only one thing: the connections between them.
