A summary answer
Is Muhammad Mentioned in the Bible?
In the book The Glad Tidings of the Prophethood of Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdullāh — As Mentioned in the Old Testament, Majed S. Alrassi gathers 41 passages: 31 from the Old Testament across 11 books (Haggai, Genesis, Jeremiah, Psalms, Deuteronomy, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Micah, Habakkuk), and 10 from the New Testament. Each passage is quoted as the book records it, and each is examined for the person it describes, the place it names and the people it addresses.
The pages below let you read every passage in full and judge it yourself. Nothing here is paraphrased: the quotations, the verse numbers and the commentary all come from the book, which you can also read or download in full.
The core of the argument
This is a compilation of glad tidings and prophecies contained in the Old Testament that foretold the appearance of Muḥammad, son of ‘Abdullāh (Abdullah), from the descendants of Ismā‘īl (Ishmael), as a messenger and prophet to all mankind. Allāh, Exalted be He, speaks the truth in His book, the Qur’ān, when he says to the People of the Book (Jews and Christians): “Say, [O Muḥammad], ‘So Bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful.’” [Āl ‘Imrān (Family of Imran), 3:93] And He said about the truthful scholars of the People of the Book in their knowledge and deeds: “Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were 5 upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him, and followed the light which was sent down with him — it is those who will be the successful.” [Al-A ‘rāf (The Heights), 7:157].
