Six Ways Through the Book

The scepter shall not depart from Y ahūdhā (Judah), nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very forward generation, children in whom is no faith.

Now you, O slain, wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the punishment of the end,’ thus says the Lord God, ‘Remove the turban and take off the crown;

25 - He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation, And will whistle(1) for it from the ends of the earth;

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his l a w.

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

15 - For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.

And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.’

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nabāyūt (Nebaioth) shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory...

And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness;

Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals [fever] went forth at his feet.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it;

And similar to this is what came in the Book of Genesis in chapter 21, that the angel of Allāh said to Hagar, the wife of Abraham: 17 - “What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for Allāh has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our e

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me;

‘The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together;

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

And similar to this is what came in the Book of Genesis in chapter 21, that the angel of Allāh said to Hagar, the wife of Abraham: 17 - “What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for Allāh has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

But the Comforter (al-Mu‘azzī), which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

But when the Comforter (al-Mu‘azzī) is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

But when We made you unlettered, neither reading nor writing, then people heard this Qur’ān from you, and they know that humans cannot produce it, nor a verse of it, and that it does not resemble the speech of humans;

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

...And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias (Elijah), neither that prophet? 26.

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you;

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? And there is no God else beside me;
